As we approach giving 1 Million people the opportunity to know God personally, there is a buzz here in Houston. We are all excited to see God move people to have a personal relationship with Him. We are approaching 1 Million visitors it is really exciting to see people from all over the world be exposed to the Gospel and email us with questions.

It’s 3:30 AM, and we’re up checking on our servers and systems. We’re being reminded that God is in control.

We have Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and numerous other  ways for people to express themselves. At GMO, we give people the opportunity to email us questions, comments, and thoughts. Just tonight, someone emailed us, from their cell phone, from 4stepstogod.mobi from India: “I’m done with life. Nothin happy left. Wanna die. What to do?” This is a real person who is looking for answers, and one of our Online Missionaries will respond to them in the next 48 hours. We are about reaching people such as this individual. Please pray for this person and that he or she may know that God loves them and their is hope.

So, it 6:15PM in Houston, and it’s almost time to get things started. We have ad vendors who run things on GMT, so, we’ll be getting started at 7PM, we’re excited and ready!

According to Google, 2 million people daily search online for a spiritual term. That is 2 million people looking for answers about hope, love, peace, happiness, marriage, and God. Only God can give them peace, love, and hope.

Last night we were praying about the next few days and we know that God works in mysterious ways, and that He can do things greater than we ever imagined (Eph 1:19) and we know that we have been instructed by Christ to go and preach to all the nations, tribes, and tongues (Matthew 28:19 and Mark 13:10). So when we have the opportunity to preach the Gospel (John 9:4) we need to go do so. Only 54% of nations say we can preach the gospel, and we don’t know when that number will decrease, or when countries will use the “kill switch” and shut down the internet.

The 24th and the 25th is not about GMO, but’s about reaching the world with the Gospel, it’s about giving people a chance to know about the love of Christ, it’s about getting people to pray for those that do not have a personal relationship with Christ. It’s about having a conversation about spiritual topics with those who normally would not have that conversation. Yesterday, 477,394 spiritually interested people came to one of GMO websites and had the opportunity to read or hear about God’s love for them.

My team has been busy preparing for March 24 and March 25, but God has been at work much longer in preparing the hearts of people for tomorrow.

On March 24 and 25, there will be something incredible happening, and we invite you to check out Great Commission 2020. This event will be unlike anything else we have done at GMO: we are seeking to reach 1 million visitors on March 24 and another 1 million visitors on March 25. Please join us in praying that over these 2 days we will reach 2 million people from around the world who are searching for Jesus online. We encourage you to visit Great Commission 2020 throughout the 24th and 25th as people are being exposed to the love of God.
